ATLANTA, GA – August 17, 2018 – World Micro proudly presented intern Patrick Carroll with an award in recognition of outstanding efforts through the World Micro Internship Program. During his Product Marketing internship, Patrick worked on various projects such as running social media campaigns, developing and publishing marketing collateral, and maintaining the World Micro website. “The experience and knowledge that I gained through this internship are the perfect complement to the content covered in the courses that I take at Kennesaw State. I highly recommend that all students obtain an internship prior to graduation, such as one through World Micro’s program,” stated Patrick Carroll. Patrick is currently a senior Information Systems major at KSU's Coles College of Business.

World Micro’s newly established internship program allows students to apply their knowledge and skills gained from classrooms in real world settings. “Immersing students in the day-to-day activities of our business allows them the opportunity to understand how we work as a company and allows the students to explore the various career paths available to them. By delegating key tasks to our interns, they are truly able to become part of our team and the World Micro family. We look forward to expanding our Internship Program as we build our relationships with local universities in the Atlanta area,” commented Bettina Clark, Director of Supplier Development at World Micro.
