Because each customer has individual needs and situations, we have geared this program to work specifically to identify and solve your excess inventory-related issues.
Why World Micro? Two very real reasons:

We own one of the largest "stocking" distributors of excess inventory in the Eastern US. We purchase inventory and stock it on our shelves, and make it available globally.

Tremendous cash and credit positions allow us to purchase excess with very few limitations.
All of the programs generally operate under the same premise: We will help you liquidate your excess components.
Excess Programs:
Cash-Out Option: We will give you a price and purchase your entire excess inventory at one set price.
Management of Excess: We will list your excess inventory through our vast network of dealers and OEM's. We will call you when we have a buyer for your excess. This option requires that somebody at your facility be available to quote, verify quantity, condition, and ship goods that we agree to purchase. All products will be advertised under the World Micro name and will be shipped to our Atlanta warehouse.
Consignment of Excess: In certain cases, we will house your inventory at our facility and issue payment as we liquidate your excess. This alleviates the extra work required by your company to check stock, ship, etc. We will provide you with monthly statements showing which components have been sold.
What you can expect from us:

One contact person: Your regular account representative will handle your excess.

C.O.D. payment for all goods that we purchase from you: If we have receivables due from your company, we will deduct any purchases we make; otherwise, we will pay for all goods at the time that they are received. This allows you to get paid for your excess the day after shipment.

Confidentiality: We will never disclose from whom we have procured excess components. All of our employees have signed confidentiality agreements and we respect your privacy.
What we expect from you:

One contact person at your company. This way there will be less confusion with transactions.

Your up-to-date excess inventory. We understand that you will utilize inventory that you may not have expected to use. All we ask is that you update your inventory (email to excess@worldmicro.com) with changes in part numbers and quantity.

Either set the price or "make offer" on each line item. We need to know if you need a certain price or if we should call you to make an offer.

Prompt shipment of goods. If we execute a purchase order with your company by noon local time, we expect that goods will be shipped out the same day. If our order comes in after noon, we expect that goods be shipped out the next day.
